The beachfront location means you can enjoy the pristine pools, jacuzzis and Medano beach - all overlooking the famous El Arco rock formation that marks the junction of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific ocean. Enjoy gourmet cuisine, including 7 restaurants on the property, 6 additional restaurants on adjacent Villa properties, and a short ride to town to enjoy the local restaurants and Cabo’s famous nightlife. Chris and Maggie (the owners) are happy to share perspectives on optional inclusive meal plans (pros and cons), local restaurant and nightlife recommendations and tips on the best ways to get around town.
If you’re interested in water activities, you’re able to rent jet skis, paddle board, parasailing, banana boats, kayaks, and other activities a few steps down the beach. For the young at heart, the resort is also a short beach walk to well known beachfront bars and restaurants including The Office and Mango Deck. Chris and Maggie can also provide advice if you’re planning to set up a deep sea fishing trip or golf outing.

Summary: We had a great time. Three bedrooms were perfect for our family of six. The resort was busy as expected over Christmas break. We chose not to do the all inclusive package and were glad we made that decision since other guests were having a hard time getting reservations with it. Villa del Palmar is a nice resort with lots of kids and teens and lots happening in the main area. For a quieter, more luxury experience we have also stayed at Villa La Estancia in the same resort complex and also liked it. Both are very convenient to town and lots of activities. There was no washer and dryer as advertised, but the resort offered to do our laundry to compensate. We expected 3 king size beds, but got 1 king and 2 queens. Otherwise, perfect weather, friendly people and great food. We loved our visit.
